Shikher Guest House - Kalimpong

The hotel was placed in the remote location very down from the hill. There were a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a seating area, and an electric kettle in the room, loved that.

We really enjoyed our peaceful 5-night stay at Shikher in Kalimpong. the staff and host were super-friendly and affable. - the breakfast of toast, pancakes, and omelet was delicious. - the remote setting in the beautiful garden in front of the house was lovely.

Location right by the mountains during lazy afternoons. Very courteous and super-friendly staff always on hand. Large & functional rooms with amazing views.

The room with a balcony was great, and the location in a good area with a main market and a market nearby was convenient.

The hotel is stunningly beautiful and located close to the center of town and the chaotic market area of main Kalimpong. The employees are friendly with nice manners. The rooms are large and budget-friendly with amazing views and a lovely balcony. The hotel also has an excellent and great location for sightseeing in Kalimpong. The meals are excellent and great. it was a very nice stay with no reason to complain.

The staff at Shikher, especially Bhushan, were attentive and accommodating. They went above and beyond to assist guests with any request, ensuring a memorable stay. the drivers provided were also excellent, enhancing the overall experience. the resort's serene atmosphere and proximity to local attractions make it an ideal choice for a peaceful getaway near the town.

Food preparation time is prolonged. Spiciness level can be adjusted upon request.

The rooms were clean and spacious, with a stunning view from the balcony. The hotel also offered travel arrangements for sightseeing, which made exploring the area convenient. they took great care of my 9-month-old baby, ensuring that his food was prepared hygienically.

There were a couple of drawbacks during my stay. the food menu could have had more variety.

The location is very close to the world's third highest mountain, with easy access to taxi and airport transfer, and the vibrant market area of main Kalimpong. Furthermore, the hotel is located on Tirpai hill.
